33 Weeks and 6 Days Pregnant

I was 33 weeks and 6 days pregnant when my water broke. I was not ready at all, and went to the hospital hoping they would give me something to stop the contractions and send me home. That didn't happen though.

I had an onset of preeclampsia and didn't even know it. My blood pressure was through the roof and the doctor told me I had to have a c-section that night. I was scared because I originally wanted to have natural labor, but all turned out well. My little boy was a preemie but he was able to come home in two weeks with no problems. God is good!

What is strange is that I thought having a c-section would rob me of all of the natural childbirth experience, but you still get a lot of the "fun". I was in hard labor for a few hours before surgery. Afterwards, when they finally let me walk, with each step my hip bones and joints would move and slip as if a baby had passed through them recently. Happy pregnancy to all.

I went into labor early too

I went into labor early too. My daughter decided she was tired of being cramped up in my uterus and my water broke at 35 weeks pregnant. Everything was fine and she slipped right out after 5 hours of labor. She was 5 pounds 6 ounces. I wonder how much she would have weighed if I made it to 40 weeks?
