Bulimia Causes Ulcers which Cause Pain

Bulimia causes ulcers which causes pain. I have been bulimic for about 15 years now. I have always heard about the possible side effects of being bulimic but I never thought it would happen to me. Call me crazy!
For those of you out there that want to know what an ulcer feels like, IT HURTS! The pain I experienced before being told what I had made me feel like I was dying. The pain in my stomach was sharp, and constant. It was like a ball of spikes was in my gut and would not move. This pain would last for a little more than a day or so before it would become bearable.
I was had nausea, vomitted forcefully and painfully, and was extremely tired. What made things worse was the fact that I took a vivarin caffeine pill right before my attack. I was already partly dehydrated as well, so this added caffeine, which is an ulcer irritant, made things even worse.
I really don't want to tell my family about this because then they will know that I am still suffering from bulimia. I told them I had it under control, but I don't. Once this ulcer heals I am really going to make a stronger effort. I may even see if my insurance covers eating disorder treatment at a sleep in facility. I never want to experience this pain again. But I have to treat my emotional issues before thinking about weight loss surgery.
I encourage all men, women, boys, and girls out there dealing with an eating disorder to get some help. Your body will become damaged at some point. Bulimia causes ulcers which cause pain.
