I am 14 years old and weigh a lot

I am 14 years old and I weigh a lot. I can't lose the weight. I eat too much and cannot stop myself. It is hard for me on a diet because I can't stick to it. I am so tired of people making fun of me and now I'm so obese that I can barely fit in the desks at school. It has gotten to the point where it physically hurts me to sit down in those little desks now. Help me!

You have to take baby steps

I have found that you have to take baby steps when trying to lose weight. Make little, simple changes that aren't too drastic at first. It took a long time to get to be the size that you are and it will take some time to go down.

Try taking the stairs when you have a choice between between the elevator or steps. Try leaving a few forks of food on your plate instead of eating it all. Make smaller portions by leaving off that last spoonful, or that second piece of meat. Drink more water and cut out soda and artificial drinks. Also limit real juice to 4 oz a day too. If you follow these steps you will start to see some weight come off slowly and then you will be inspired to make more positive changes. Try it!
