The Rockin Body workout by Shaun T, how does it measure up? Are you a plus size man or woman, or an exercise beginner interested in finding out exactly what this home fitness dvd offers? These questions can be answered in four words. You won't be disappointed!
After watching and exercising to these videos, they quickly became one of my favorites. Shaun T's Rockin Body workouts are designed to keep you moving and burning calories from the beginning to the end. His workouts incorporate a lot of dance moves, but none of them are too difficult. The songs he plays in the background keep you in the party mode. He really gives it to you, in terms of energy and motivation. And how could you not notice the 6-pack abs on that man!
Is Rockin Body Workouts Easy Enough for Beginners?
If you aren't a natural born dancer have no fear. The first dvd in the series, called "Mark, Move and Groove", shows you the basic moves in a slowed down mode, while still giving you a 15 minute cardio workout. This exercise dvd is followed up by: 2. Disco Groove-35 minutes, 3. Party Express-25 minutes, 4. Shaun T's Dance Party-45 minutes, and 5. Rock It Out-45 minutes.
Now, for my plus size men and women, you are really going to enjoy these dvds. If you are a beginner then it will be a task just to get through the first dvd, Mark, Move and Groove. But then it gets easier. Once you move on to the full workouts you are going to have so much fun. Shaun T pushes you, teaches you the steps, and does a little flirting, all at the same time. I must admit, some portions of the routine move too fast. It's not easy to move a lot of weight around at high speeds, even if you are in fairly good shape. The Rockin' Body workout also has a dedicated person to show you a modified/easier version of each routine. The person to watch on Shaun T's videos would be Tanya, or Tania depending on how you spell it. If you watch her you should have an easier time. I follow Tanya for the moves involving squats, lunges, and knee bends. And I must report that I have had no knee pain using Shaun t's videos, and I have slight arthritis in my knees. These workout reviews are designed to help give you an inside look at individual fitness routines from the eyes of a fellow bbw big beautiful woman. Remember to always consult your doctor before starting a fitness program. And always listen to your body, when it says stop, then stop.
